INTRODUCTION TO PALLIATIVE CARE

This evenings session we will be to gather 

  • an overview of  the philosophy and principles of palliative care, while also briefly exploring the history of palliative care & its development to modern time. 
•To highlight  the role of national standards in healthcare
•To gain an understanding of role of national standards in the context of palliative care
•Gain an over view of  standards guiding current palliative care practice
•To develop an understand of palliative care needs assessment
