Great news for Wexford women - Following on from the very successful PEIL (Programme for Employment, Inclusion and Learning) programme delivered by CTEC between 2017-2019 and which resulted in 72% of the students gaining employment,  CTEC has once again been successful in applying for ESF PEIL grants, this time securing two grants - one for Healthcare and Childcare training and one for Enterprise development. CTEC Project short-listed for EU RegioStars 2019 Award

REGIOSTARS is Europe's awards for the most innovative regional projects. 199 submissions arrived this year for REGIOSTARS 2019, the annual competition rewarding excellence and new approaches in regional development.  These projects are local, regional or national initiatives fighting against poverty and material deprivation; they foster more inclusive, cohesive and equal societies. This year, CTEC entered their 'Wexford Women Working' project into Category 3 awards - Combatting inequalities and poverty. There are just 3 Irish projects in the competition and CTEC's project is the only Wexford entry going forward.
